It is never too late to follow your dreams

Inga is an entrepreneur, professional home organizer, and home stager, full of passion for the real estate market and ideas for staging properties.

She owns a successful organizing company, Home in Balance. She can help you with decluttering and organizing your home and with staging your property for sale.

We talked about her entrepreneurial journey.

You are a professional home organizer with over five years of experience. Was it difficult for you to start your own business?

Yes, it is always difficult to start your own business. Especially when you are in a new country. Also, it wasn't easy because I am a full time mum and my daughter was always and will be my priority. But if you really like what you do and believe in your idea, it will pay off.

What are the benefits of working as an entrepreneur?

You have flexible hours, you are your own boss, and you are more satisfied working for yourself than for someone else.

A professional organizer is a new profession. Do you think that people should try to discover some new professions in order to find their dream job?

This is not a new profession. Actually, it has been in the US for more than 30 years now. According to the latest research, the rise of machines and automation will eliminate 85 million jobs by 2025. At the same time, creating 97 million new jobs. I guess it is worth trying to find something. Always believe in your dreams and they will know the way!

Some studies show that the average age of startup founders is 45. Do you agree that it is never too late to start a business?

It is never too late to follow your dreams.

Can you please give us three tips for keeping a home in balance?

Go through your stuff regularly. Don't postpone it - later never comes. Be consistent with the organizing system that has been implemented before.

Don't keep the stuff "just in case." You will be losing the space for a few years, waiting for the moment that will never come.

Inga helps her clients to move from consuming unconsciously to living for and with what they truly love and need. It's not just about being organized, she says, it's a new way of seeing things on your own.
